Theatre Company Mission
Methacton High School Theatre Company's mission is to present to the community the best plays written by the world's greatest playwrights. The company is also committed to maintaining a strong educational theatre program that fosters an ensemble spirit and enables students to learn:

Senior Showcase
  Senior members of the theatre company may be eligible to direct and perform in the annual Senior Showcase which is usually performed during the first week in June. Company officers and Ms. Welsh will nominate directors and performers. All nominations must receive final approval by the Artistic Advisor, Ms. Welsh. Candidates for directorship will have demonstrated a superior level of commitment to the company. They will have consistently displayed leadership, talent, and fostered an ensemble spirit.

     All plays, dances, scenes, monologues must be submitted to and approved by the officers and Ms. Welsh. Submissions must be in accordance with our mission statement and cannot contain any explicit, degrading or inappropriate material. The senior show will not accept requests for pieces that are TV/Film based.

     Underclassmen who have demonstrated a superior level of commitment, dedication, and ensemble spirit may be asked to perform as well, although the focus will be on the seniors.
